Inspired by rugged coastal landscapes of Cornwall, Kelp & Nettle is a skincare brand that harnesses the untapped potential of Cornwall's coastal bounty of nutritious, natural ingredients.

"I’m Kat, the founder of Kelp & Nettle. Thank you for taking an interest in my brand and it's story!

I live in beautiful Cornwall, and as an avid walker and wild swimmer, I’ve spent countless hours exploring the pristine Cornish coast path. It was during these adventures that the idea for Kelp & Nettle first began to take shape - a desire to create natural skincare products that celebrate the rich, natural bounty of the land and sea through the untapped resources of nutrient-rich kelp and nettle.

Having sensitive skin myself, I've often struggled to find skincare products that are both effective and gentle. Frustrated by the abundance of chemically-synthesised and plastic packaged products, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Drawing inspiration from nature’s pharmacy, I started crafting my own formulations using kelp and nettle that I foraged from Cornwall's coastlines.

What began as a personal quest quickly turned into a labour of love. My friends and family became the first testers of these natural, hand-crafted products, and their positive feedback was overwhelming. The transformative results spoke for themselves, and word soon spread about my kelp and nettle formulations.

Recognising a growing demand, especially for my signature facial oil, I decided it was time to share my creations with a wider audience. And that’s how Kelp & Nettle was born - a skincare line rooted in the belief that what’s good for your skin should also be good for the planet and vice versa."
